Five of New York City's top dance companies are coming together to take part in Lincoln Center's second annualThe BAAND Together Dance Festival is a five day event which will feature Ballet Hispánico, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, American Ballet Theatre, New York City Ballet, and Dance Theatre of Harlem performing curated programming for the special event.
"The BAAND Together Dance Festival is a testament to the vibrancy and diversity of the New York City dance community," says the artistic directors of all five dance companies in a joint statement. "We are thrilled to be returning with a spectacular program that features the city's most internationally revered repertory companies. This year's program highlights the innovative visions that have made New York City our nation's dance capital.
Ahead of the festival next month, Chanel worked alongside photographer Daniel Arnold to capture dancers from all five of the companies performing for the streets of New York. In the images, dancers from each company are decked in C-logo bodysuits, flowing black dresses, and cutout unitards styled by Chanel for the occasion.
