Hundreds of people across Britain are banned from running a company, according to the Insolvency Service's Register of Disqualifications. Dozens of these people are from Nottinghamshire and we've compiled a list of them all, showing what reason was given for the ban and for how long they will remain on the register.
3) Mohammad Akbar, of Leeming Street in Mansfield, was banned under the Directors Disqualification Act 1986 for his conduct while acting for SHIRAZ FOOD & WINE LIMITED. This order started on August 6, 2018 and will end on August 5, 2025. 7) Nigel Roy Avison of Main Street, Muston was disqualified while acting for OPTIONS CONSULTING AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT LTD after being convicted of an indictable offence at Nottingham Crown Court. His order started on February 12, 2018 and will end on February 11, 2029.
11) William Bellamy of Mercury Close, Nottingham was banned from February 21, 2020 to February 20, 2024 after being convicted of an indictable offence at Southwark Crown Court. He was disqualified for his conduct while acting for ALDO TECHNICS LTD, CITY VEND LTD and INVESTMENT FX LTD. 15) Joshua Dwight Bruce of Greenbank Court, Nottingham, was banned from May 13, 2022 to November 12, 2025 under the Company Directors Disqualification Act 1986. He was disqualified for his conduct while acting for KRUDD LTD.
19) Richard Aston Clay was banned by Manchester County Court in its duty to disqualify unfit directors of insolvent companies while he was acting for ARCK LIMITED LIABILITY PARTNERSHIP and JOYSTON ALTERNATIVE ASSET LIMITED. This order will be in place from December 29, 2014 to December 28, 2029. 23) Kiran Dillon, of Fen Lane, Balderton, Newark, was banned from May 9, 2014 to May 8, 2026 after being convicted of an indictable offence at Southwark Crown Court. He was disqualified for his conduct while acting for ALL ASPECTS PAVING & LANDSCAPING LTD, BRITANNIA LTD, FABRICAT LTD, MILLI-STYLE LTD, SHARPE DEVELOPMENTS LTD, WOODPRO LTD.
27) Mark Harwood Fletcher, of Nottingham Road, Cropwell Bishop, was banned under the Company Directors Disqualification Act 1986. He was disqualified from November 20, 2018 to November 19, 2024 for his conduct while acting for CONSULTANTSIT.COM LIMITED. 31) Heather Dawn Goldsmith, of Main Street, Fenton, Newark, was banned under the Company Directors Disqualification Act 1986 while acting for DIAMOND GEEZER LIMITED. This disqualification started on October 7, 2020 and will end date on October 6, 2025.
35) Ibrar Hussain, of Gilcroft Street, Sutton-In-Ashfield, was banned under the Company Directors Disqualification Act 1986. He was disqualified for conduct while acting for A OASIS CARS LIMITED, with this spanning from July 11, 2023 to July 10, 2034. 39) Rafal Kafeczuk, of Hornbeam Way, Kirkby-In-Ashfield, was disqualified from October 24, 2022 to October 23, 2030 for his conduct while acting for KAFECZ TRANS LTD. He was banned under the Company Directors Disqualification Act 1986.
43) Shazia Javed Khaliq, of Mount Pleasant, Carlton, was banned from July 9, 2019 to July 8, 2025 under the Company Directors Disqualification Act 1986. He was disqualified while acting for ECO HOMES TRADE CENTRE LIMITED. 47) Stephen Timothy Law, of Beaulieu Gardens, West Bridgford, was banned from February 4, 2014 to February 3, 2026 under the Company Directors Disqualification Act 1986. He was disqualified for his conduct while acting for BRUNEL ENTREPRENEURS LIMITED.
He was found guilty, as a director of Greenfeeds Ltd, with a breach of section 2 of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. The disqualification spans from June 16, 2022 to June 15, 2032 and was for his conduct while acting for GREENFEEDS LIMITED. 53) Lee Mankelow, of Roxburgh Close, Arnold, was banned from February 16, 2022 to February 15, 2028 while acting for WOLF TIMBER LTD. He was disqualified under the Company Directors Disqualification Act 1986.
57) Chris May, of Chalfont Drive, Nottingham, was banned from June, 18 2019 to June 17, 2029 by Nottingham Crown Court after being convicted of an indictable offence- namely stealing almost £305,000 through various tax frauds. He was disqualified for his conduct while acting for CPM BPO LTD. 61) Stuart Palethorpe, of Oxendale Close, West Bridgford, was banned from November 30, 2021 to November 29, 2026 after being convicted of an indictable offence at the Business and Property Court Of England And Wales. He was disqualified for his conduct while acting for ON FORM ELECTRICAL LIMITED.
