It has been reported that the American owners have increased their asking price to a whopping £10 billion.

A source told the Daily Mail: “The Glazers are thick-skinned and won’t be influenced by any negative fan reactions.”The report claimed that the Glazers would try to sell the club again in 2025 when they hope financial and environmental factors may attract more bidders. In addition, the Glazers hope manager Erik ten Hag can win more major trophies with United, which will help boost the ultimate sale price.Also, the Glazers think the expansion of the FIFA Club World Cup to 32 teams, the uplift in TV rights revenues, and the 2026 World Cup, which is hosted in the United States will help their wish to sell United for between £7 billion and £10 billion.This summer, United have spent big to bring in the likes of Mason Mount, Andre Onana and Rasmus Hojund.

Having only collected six points from their opening three matches, United will be hoping to clinch a much-needed victory when they take on Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.
