BANGKOK, Sept 22 ― Thailand's Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin and his Malaysian counterpart Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim agreed to deepen trade, investment, and tourism cooperation when they met on the sidelines of the 78th United Nations General Assembly today.
To boost cooperation, he said Thailand suggested a meeting of the business sector to discuss ways to boost trade and investment. Chai said both prime ministers also pledged to work together to promote tourism between the two countries. Meanwhile, Chai said the two prime ministers also pledged to cooperate on security issues along the Thailand and Malaysia borders as well as peace process in southern Thailand.
