Increase in monitoring the airline industry

The Albanese government has just announced it will give its competition watchdog — the ACCC — additional powers and funding to monitor the domestic airline industry. It was one of the recommendations from a recent Senate inquiry into the controversial decision to block extra Qatar Airways flights into Australia.
