Calling all SMEs: “Johor is the leading state in halal products in Malaysia so the government, through Matrade, is calling out to all SMEs that wish to expand their business to Japan to come forward and register with us.'

Malaysia External Trade Development Corp is partnering with Japan External Trade Organisation to help more small and medium enter­prises in Johor to penetrate the halal market in Japan.

Matrade Southern Regional Office director Zuaziezie Zulkefli said that there is a strong demand for Malaysian halal products in Japan that should be taken up by the SMEs in the state.
