The Exeter Fire Department said around 5:15 p.m. that firefighters had responded to 76 Depot Road in Epping, North Atlantic Fuels, for a massive fire involving three oil tankers and a tractor-trailerThe fire was brought under control just before 7 p.m., thanks in part to the crash truck from the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport, which brought hundreds of gallons of foam to the scene along with the Southeast HAZMAT team.
"The response to this incident highlights the importance of having a well-coordinated and robust mutual aid system," they added. The fire department said it has to pressure wash its oil-soaked hoses to ensure they're properly cleaned following the fire Saturday night.
