“Working with partners, and businesses on Friargate, we’ve been really keen to explore opportunities for more event activity on the newly created space, and the Markers Market is the perfect catalyst for this. “We’re delighted to be working with the Makers Market team, and partners, to make Preston the first destination in the North West to stage the event twice per month.”Simon Lawrence, Lancashire County Council’s Director of Growth and Regeneration, said: “There’s now even more reason to visit the new-look Friargate, so I encourage people to come and have a look at what we’ve done to transform this iconic destination.
