Tom Hickey, who previously served as chief executive of Tullow Oil, has been named as Kenmare Resources' new managing director, replacing founder Michael Carvill.
Mr Hickey, who previously worked with Tullow Oil and Petroceltic, will also continue as an executive director on Kenmare’s board, the company said in a statement on Tuesday. A “limited process” to find his replacement as chief financial officer will now commence, it said. Kenmare now has operations in more than 15 countries – including Mozambique, where it runs the Moma Titanium Minerals Mine – and is responsible for 7 per cent of global supply of titanium feedstocks. Since 2019 it has returned more than $230 million to shareholders through dividends and share buy-backs.Will Spotify users who pay nothing for the service always have that pleasure?
