Wall Street stocks hit new records on Tuesday despite Trump’s new tariff plans on Mexico, Canada, and China.The S&P 500 climbed 0.6% to a record 6,021.63, while the tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite Index also rose 0.6% to 19,175.58.

In Europe, shares moved in the opposite direction, led by automakers, as worries grew about a possible global trade war after Trump’s tariff threat against key US trading partners.
