At the halfway mark for it's looking likely there will be a second annual decline in sales. The industry is blaming uncertainty around Brexit and flattening demand for the drop. So ride-sharing apps are not even a factor in the drop? That's biased- but it explains why there is no clear understanding for the drop in your article- because you ignore the massive effect younger people have on car sales. Ride hailing/sharing is killing the auto industry.
