” Jegels who was arrested for her murder, has died in an East London hospital in the Eastern Cape.
The suspect was due to appear in court in East London on Monday following the shooting of Jegels and her mother on Friday. He was arrested following a high speed car chase on Friday.He was then admitted to hospital. Independent Police Investigative Directorate spokesperson Sontaga Seisa has confirmed the death of the suspect but gave no further details.
“The TRT man who was in hospital after shooting his girlfriend boxer, and also shot his girlfriend’s mother, has been certified dead in a hospital in East London. The same suspect was supposed to appear in court for the same alleged offences,” says Seisa.
