KEDAH under the leadership of Menteri Besar Mukhriz Mahathir is working to draw more Chinese investment to the state, to reap the benefits from the ongoing US-China trade war. The state’s less-developed status compared to the country’s economic powerhouses such as neighbouring Penang, he said, now works in Kedah’s favour as it cost less for foreign investors to invest in Kedah.
