A WOMAN died after leaning out of the window of a moving train and hitting her head on a tree branch when she was on her way home from drinking with friends at a Christmas market.
It listed a series of recommendations and key findings, including a previously unseen toxicology report. "Witness evidence indicates that the passenger had her head out of the window for a few seconds before falling back into the vestibule having sustained a serious head injury."
I’m surprised windows on trains can still be opened that allows someone to put their head out of a fast moving train, I remember things like this happening 40 years ago haven’t the railways learnt anything
No doubt her family will sue the train company claiming the windows should not have opened far enough to get a head out of it.
It reminds me of Viv from the young ones.
