Violence broke out on Friday after men of the Lagos State Environmental and Special Offences Unit invaded Jakande Market, Ketu.

gathered that the men, who were accompanied by security operatives, attempted to dislodge traders and destroy some shanties in the market.

Some of the traders reportedly mobilised and protested against the shooting, which led to a free-for-all.
