Pre-trial proceedings in the case of terror accused twinsare expected to wrap up at the High Court in Johannesburg on Friday.
This after the Court ordered the State to ensure that all outstanding documents are handed over to the accused’s counsel by November 22, 2019, so they can prepare for trial. The twins were arrested in July 2016 for allegedly plotting a series of attacks on Jewish targets and the US Embassy in the country.
They were charged with conspiracy and incitement to commit terror-related crimes and their pre-trial has seen a number of delays over the last three years.to delay the trial.
