Mbeki condemns statement made by De Klerk about apartheid via SABCNewsOnline

Mbeki says the statement by de Klerk is absurd:

“I had a brief discussion with De Klerk because we were sitting more or less next to each other in parliament, and what transpired is that he actually didn’t know that there is a convention declaring apartheid a crime against humanity. He said to me that he had been asked a question and he had said apartheid was reprehensible, he apologised for the bad things that had happened. But he was making a very narrow comment.

But why can't De Klerk be diplomatic and apologize. Simple.

Some leadership in action. Better late than never 🤙

Shoe...in for a penny, in for a pound, right De Klerk Foundation? Full speed ahead...into an iceberg.

Only now...After the EFF took a stand against De Klerk whilst the ANC defended him.

Honestly De Clerk saying what he said in that interview he has been reckless. U can't say such after so much pain has been caused by his people

De Klerk has lost relevance in relation to modern day politics,he should just shave his head and find a hole to crawl into for good.

He never condemned
