PETALING JAYA: A church, private college and business park in the Klang Valley have carried out disinfection measures at their premises following reports of confirmed Covid-19 cases there.

The Archdiocese of Kuala Lumpur said in a statement that two members of the Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Puchong, who were in close contact with the first confirmed case in the parish recently, had tested positive for Covid-19.

The statement also said two other parishioners, who might have had close contact with a confirmed patient outside the parish on March 1, were currently under investigation and quarantined.The church authorities said all measures, as required by the Health Ministry, had been taken to ensure the church premises remained safe for other parishioners.

UOW Malaysia KDU also said it would be conducting temperature screening and providing hand sanitisers to maintain cleanliness. Separately, the management of Plaza 33 also confirmed that a visitor to one of its tenants had tested positive for Covid-19.
