What's crazy is that cops in and around L.A. have, in fact, been issuing tickets to people who brazenly get too close to other people in public. We spoke with someone who was stopped by LAPD cops outside a Silverlake Starbucks in the L.A. area who said she was told she was getting a $400 ticket for being too close to another customer. When she told cops it was her roommate, they gave her a warning. That said, it begs a serious question.

This is Echo Park Farmers Market. Don’t judge all markets in Los Angeles since Brentwood can’t get it’s self together. I was at the market Friday just to get what I needed, then went home. That’s what people are doing. Getting fresh food & going home!

Farmers have significantly less people handling the produce. Unlike the grocery stores, the produce is not sitting out in the open for the days with people touching the produce. Why shut down local farms? We need local food supply now more than ever.
