The broad-based S&P 500 gained 0.8 per cent to 2,859.62, while the tech-rich Nasdaq rose 1.1 per cent to 8,732.54. Georgia has also allowed some small businesses to reopen statewide, including barber shops, bowling alleys and nail salons, provided protective health measures were in place.
