In D.C., I have four locations. The first location we closed was Courthouse Plaza in Virginia, at the start of March — it got so slow. And then Eastern Market. When they told Georgetown and American University students to study from home, that’s when it got bad. On March 13th, we closed Clarendon, Columbia Heights, and Dupont Circle.

I have about 14 employees. They’ve been with me for a long time. For the month of March, I gave them their [salaries]. But I don’t know how long it’ll be. They’ve been calling me about what to do, but I don’t have answers. I just heard on the news they closed D.C. until the 15th of May. It’ll impact the business when we get back, but I don’t know how. Still people will be scared to get close.
