Fire has gutted a section of the popular Igbudu Market in Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State, being the second fire incident recorded in the Market within the last one month.

The fire, which occurred about 3 pm on Sunday, affected a section of the market housing several stores at the Hausa Quarters end of the market.

The cause of the fire incident could not be ascertained by our correspondent at the time of filing this report.But it was successfully put out by men of the Warri Fire Service, who later arrived at the scene to combat the inferno. The Council boss said, “This is not the first time we are hearing of this kind of attack from the community people. It is not right and it is something that is condemnable.
