While I understand the entire mess we're in for in this year's election. Never in my prior experience has voting taken longer then 15 minutes. So I while I'll gladly take a paid day off work, I don't see why would an entire day off work is needed to vote.

Women should not be allowed to vote during Their menstrual cycle, during pregnancy, or after menopause.

Chuck Todd is on. Let the lies begin.

The continued wussification of America. I just cant make it to vote on a Tuesday 😩. It’s just to much trouble 😞 to be a responsible citizen.

Nice

Hey.... if you still need a website design...plz DM me. I would love to do that. I'm a professional Front-end web developer. I will show you my past work and portfolio.

Federal holiday doesn't automatically give corporate America the day off. Private companies choose whether to give the day off anyway. No federal action is needed for that. All a federal holiday gives is federal employees the day off.

I'm 100% in favor.

Let’s put an end to this TV show!!!

Very common practice in Canada that your employer will give you time to go and vote during voting station open hours.

It's quite interesting to see the negative replies to the concept of making election day a national holiday.

Coca Cola is big. GEORGIA.

They don't want you to vote in person.

Should have been a national holiday a long time. Fun project. If your bosses resist you taking time to go vote on Election Day, record the conversation. Then leave anyways and vote. You have a legal right to keep your job, and now you have evidence to make way more money.

Election Day should absolutely be a national holiday.

Wow...this is awesome

I always take a day off to mail something.

That's awesome! I can now vote for a corporate candidate on my day off! Beautiful!

Seems like voting early would be illegal, reason being that you may be dead the beginning of November, but you were alive the end of October. Therefore, you would not be available to vote Nov 3rd.

To think “WE” the people pay these politicians to do their job. Making Election Day a national holiday shouldn’t even be questioned. Thanks Corporate America for stepping in.

Most of these companies employ high income earners stateside. Where is Target, McDonalds, Home Depot, etc?

If you can protest you can vote.

Why do you need a day off to vote by mail?

No fraud here.
