The Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, on Thursday, says the Federal Government is prioritising poverty reduction, social inclusion and business growth across the country.
He said, “The success of the Clean Nigeria Campaign will contribute to some of the key priority areas of this government. He added, “We are aware that access to adequate water, sanitation and hygiene services is a critical factor in the socio-economic development of any nation and contributes to human capital outcomes such as early childhood survival, health and educational attainment.
On the role of the private sector in the actualisation of the objectives, Osinbajo stated that the initiative of the organised private sector in water, sanitation and hygiene, tagged ‘FLUSHIT’, was a welcome development.
