Ex-finance admin assistant fined RM20,000 for forgery

FORMER finance administrative assistant was fined RM20,000, in default 14 months’ jail, after he pleaded guilty to seven out of 34 charges for using forged payment receipts as genuine documents.

Judge S. Indra Nehru meted out the fine on Ruddy Nezeri Kamarudin, 38, who was discharged and acquitted of the remaining charges under Section 171A of the Criminal Procedure Code.
