That doesn't sound like good news for FreedomMobile customers. I chose FreedomMobile because I wanted a cellphone carrier independent of Rogers & Bell!

Sure lets let Canadian companies leech off of the canadian consumer and tax payer while giving them less choice at a higher premium than other markets. What an absolute fucking joke.

If this is allowed by the Competition Bureau then we need to immediately allow foreign competitors into Canada. If this merger happens we will have 3 massive carriers who already have no incentive to compete aggressively. Have u checked prices lately?

Who uses cable anymore? Havent had it in over a decade? IPTV is where its at.

Canada hates competition

1. Consumers are getting screwed again in the witless Canadian market 2. Two of the most powerful families just became more powerful 3. More layoffs in Calgary 4. Terrible transition for customers 5. Government will support it because it’s good news for Ontario

The CRTC is an absolute joke

Bastards.

1 thing you need to know, you will be paying more for the same services

1. Higher prices...2. Less competition... 3. Poorer Service... 4. Screwed Canadians... 5. See first four

I’ve used the services of both Shaw & Rogers in the past. Cared for neither! This will limit the cable network choices of Canadians. I’m just glad there are those few others. This is a game of monopoly. Canada

Wow. A market with already low competition. Just got even less competitive. Great.

Monopoly

So now we TRULY have no competition
