amanda_m_macias Get the pipeline going we have enough oil to sustain us for 172 years.

Doesn't Saudi Arabia finance 99% of their budget with oil? Doesn't make sense them cutting production.

Why are we so concerned. We have plenty. Let's cut loose.

Every day Trump makes nonsense statement and create new enemies. He is raw, Immature politician

Saudis oil is 87% of their exports and 42% of their GDP. Please Saudi, go ahead and stop your oil train....we call your bluff.

Do it.

The whole world should sanction their ass.

We could fix the oil dependency if we wanted to by investing in newer, cleaner, renewable energy sources

GOOD! America produces enough oil to take care of itself. Europe will be destroyed! Bye Airbus! Bye European Competition! Suckers!

nobody realizes this by now... they have been using oil as a weapon for over 40 yrs.. If the world supports renewableenergy tech, this wont be an issue anymore would it?

The entire Saudi military is dependent on US made weapons platforms. The idea that they could flip a switch and change overnight is ridiculous. Note also that Saudi Arabia's oil production has been on a steady decline. The US has all the power here.

Man, if only we had been working on alternative energy for the past 30 years we wouldn't have to worry about this. But the Republicans had to support Exxon and the Koch bros over America so here we are.

LonepineRjr I thought the US is the 1 oil producing nation now. Is that a lie too?
