UK jobs market set for bounce back with thousands of new roles listed in last two weeks

THE UK’s ailing jobs market is bouncing back — with 325,000 new roles listed in the last two weeks.

There are 33,000 jobs nationally for bar staff and 10,700 chef roles. A further 21,200 waiter and waitress positions are vacant plus 3,600 front-of-house staff to serve thirsty and hungry Brits from April 12. Neil Carberry, chief executive of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation, said: “The fact we have just had the best two weeks for new jobs postings since last March is a sure sign of the jobs market’s resilience.”
