Clothing brand North Face has been mocked by the fossil fuel industry for its 'corporate virtue signalling” in a searing online advertisement, according to RitaPanahi

Sky News host Rita Panahi says clothing brand North Face has been mocked by the fossil fuel industry for its “corporate virtue signalling” in a searing online advertisement.

North Face received widespread praise after it announced it will not fulfill orders from Innovex, with the clothing company claiming it views oil and gas in the same way as the tobacco or porn industries. Ms Panahi said the industry did not take the criticism lying down, with Liberty Energy CEO Chris Wright producing an advertisement thanking North Face’s reliance on oil and gas when it produces its products.
