Hybrid and remote work arrangements are getting the green light — for now.

. “As offices start to reopen, there is a risk that leaders might force people back to an old way of working after everyone has already made a hard shift to a new way. We are now in this state of in between, trying to find a balance that works right for each company and team.”

To address these impending requirements, 89% of executives in the Riverbed/Aternity survey plan to invest in technology in the next 12-18 months to support their hybrid workforce. The top five barriers to adopting a hybrid work model found in the Riverbed/Aternity survey include: employee motivation and well-being technology disruptions , poor home/remote network performance , collaboration and virtual relationship building , and expanded security risks .

Hybrid work model is what most orgs r opting for, A win-win for both employee and employer. Employees get to spend more time with their families, employer get to save more on office expenses.

Return to old? The Monday-Friday office lifestyle with associated challenges- commuting, travel cost, accidents etc that was racking havoc on families & or finding a balance of hybrid work plan / complete work from home with higher productivity! The latter will enrich society
