Former Chicago Bears senior defensive assistant Mike Pettine and his wife, Megan, placed their four-bedroom, 2,734-square-foot house in Lake Forest on the market for $1.39 million.

Pettine, 55, was a Bears assistant coach for just one season — for just over a year. He signed on with the team on Feb. 10, 2021 and exited on Feb. 17, when he left to become an assistant head coach for the Minnesota Vikings, who are a Bears division rival. Built in 1910, the house has 51/2 bathrooms, high ceilings, a living room with a gas fireplace and a newly installed gas line, a first-floor laundry room and a white kitchen with an island, marble countertops, high-end appliances and an eat-in breakfast nook. Other features include a mud room, a basement with a rec room, bedrooms with custom built-ins and oversized closets, and a primary bedroom with a custom walk-in closet and a marble bathroom with a soaking tub and a dual vanity.
