In Asia, Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index sank as much as 5% in morning trading. It was last down 3.4%, on track to log its worst daily drop in seven months. Japan's Nikkei 225 tumbled 3.6%. South Korea's Kospi dropped 2.5%. China's Shanghai Composite lost 1%.On the US market, Dow futures fell 450 points, or 1.3%. S&P 500 and Nasdaq futures were down 1.6% and 2% respectively.The latest turmoil came as US crude futures surged more than 7% to trade at $124.

America should be the world’s largest exporter of energy if we had a president that understood.
Crude oil is available in some specific countries which can manage it but it's the property of whole world in respect to use. So UN should appeal to the oil rich countries for not to monopolize its price.
Run that shit up to about a thousand bucks a barrel. The planet would thank us. And the inflation would make us stop buying crap we don't need with money we don't have to impress people we don't like.
That must be a real concern for rich shareholders who have done well for years in the Market and of course for the poor souls being bombed shelled made homeless and shot at in Ukraine. The fact is that many are being killed and maimed.
