“Subject Bombita was presented for inquest proceedings before the Department of Justice for estafa under the Revised Penal Code,” the NBI said The complainant, the NBI said, was assured that the poultry business would be operational in six months after the payment of P1.5 million to Bombita. The complainant paid the full amount in tranches, it said.
