The Government should have the balls to step in and make it illegal to sell essential goods overseas at the detriment of the Australian public. Gas supplies are adequate for domestic use and by selling it overseas is putting domestic supply at risk.
Why not? They are making money from Australian goods. Profits should be shared with everyday Australians. Make sense to me.

It’s not really a windfall. They are selling a product at market rates. It’s a global price. Yes their profits are up, that’s to be expected, but the claim they are profiteering is nonsense. They are charging the going rate.
