I grew up in a family that played golf, so I’ve always been pretty familiar with it and good at it.

Over the years of touring and everything, I’ve met a lot of different club pros and industry guys on the club side of things. I have a buddy who works at a major [equipment manufacturer] that my manager was roommates with, so we got hooked up with some clubs and discounts and stuff like that. So I was already kind of plugged in to a couple of different outlets in the industry, but not necessarily trying to network with them.
