Many of our offices are still generally empty, except for a few stragglers who wander through each day. We make noises about having “all-hands days” in the office, when we “expect” everyone to be at their desk and engaged. But in many of our shops, when push comes to shove, it’s really just a request, a guideline we hope people will follow, isn’t it?
And many of us are building the professional life we’ve been pining for. The one where we’re passionate about what we do, we’re fulfilled by the work and we’re able to see a future that doesn’t chew us up before it spits us out.
