Can we have a public bank again?

The Royal Commission opened all eyes into the depths that unleased corporations can fall to. I am sure other corporate sectors have also fallen to equal depths in the chase for bonuses ,& shareholder returns. Australia needs to restructure ALL corporate law & operations.

It’s plain & simple payback by slamming the customers to appease the shareholders. If you think banks are not going to hold a grudge you’re delusional. The fat cats are so pissed off because there’s been a halt on the gravy train & a few bonuses have gone South.

Does the expression: 'suck it up' mean anything

The Great Unwashed were so incensed by the big bad banks they bellowed for a Royal Commission...and now they will start complaining about the (obvious) outcomes = Self-induced pain. Schadenfreude

Saw this coming from the outset of the RC. Now the scrubbers and corporate monkeys will bemoan that restrictions are too great to borrow money. Idiots cut the tall poppies down thinking they will get an imaginary windfall.

It is called market re-alignment. It happens when somebody says “oh shit, that ain’t right”. All those people who have a vested interest in keeping the status quo do suffer the most.

unintended really who couldnt see tighter lending restrictions coming as a result? and higher fees as they claw back the money they paid in fines? We all saw it why not them

Yes like honesty, guilt, compassion, greed. Hmm all that terrible fall out

yes let's have no more of those commissions .......we find out far too much

Maybe we could feed the money lenders to the hungry people.
