This study used the survey waves of 2012, 2014, 2016, and 2018, because the industrial classification has been kept as the same version since 2012, and data on CMHPs are collected every 2 years . To increase the available sample size to improve the precision of our estimates, we combined 2012 and 2014 as the starting period , as well as 2016 and 2018 as the ending period .
In this study, we only included those aged between 16 and 65, considering the legal working age and retirement age in the UK.
