A pop-up shop only featuring goods created and sold by Black women at Place Versailles was meant to stay open during Black History Month, but it was such a hit it will keep running until the end of April.

Cindy Matsi sells her spices at different markets around the city, and since launching Sineha Spices last year, the Black Woman Market is the first store selling her products.

"It was so different from what you can get in the market, I was like 'People need to discover this, people need to discover the black pepper,'" she said. "It is really important for our organization to make sure that the Black women that are in business have a voice and have representation and are visible and it's easy to find their products," she said.Sall also sells perfume, body sprays and home sprays at the market and uses plenty of products sold there like body lotion, hair products, soaps and cooking ingredients.

Segregation is good when leftist do it

That's great news, so that means I can open up my store that only supports products made by white men right? Finally letting the free market decide instead of those anti-segretion racists.

CBC always sees color I would prefer not to fund media with my tax dollars that promotes divisiveness

I thought we were trying to stop racism. Doesn't this go against that theory?🤔 Let's just judge by the character. I dunno call me crazy but not sure this is the way to end anything

Gotta love racism?

Were they queer too? If not, not enough.

When's the Asian month? The Hispanic month? Caucasian? Where your inclusivity?

Glad it's done so well.

The White Woman Market, which features products made and sold by White women, was created for White History Month. Does not sound too good, does it.

maybe you cant do the calgary story but you can still suck it

I’m not racist. I don’t care what colour a person’s skin is when I shop somewhere.

Finally apartheid is back!
