Load shedding will be suspended on Sunday, Eskom said, but it's a short reprieve as Stage 1 and Stage 2 will be implemented intermittently thereafter.

During the same period a generating unit each at Lethabo, and two units at Kriel power stations were taken offline for repairs. The return to service of a generating unit each at Hendrina and Medupi power stations is delayed.
Eskom said that over the past 24 hours, a generating unit at Arnot Power Station was successfully returned to service.
