Fire Razes Goods Worth Millions Of Naira At Oyo Market - Latest News

The heavy evening downpour on Tuesday aided the effort of fire fighters. Traders in the market were seen scampering for safety while others were seen making frantic efforts to salvage few of their belongings.

Sympathizers and other traders in the market were said to have also joined forces with the fire fighters to minimise loss and curtail the inferno. When contacted, the Director of Fire, Federal Fire Service, Mr. Okenla and his counterpart from the Oyo State Fire Service, Ismail Adeleke, confirmed the incident, noting that their men were currently at the scene to suppress the intensity of the fire.
