Frenchman Ocon is a huge fan of Marvel films, having previously worn a Spiderman helmet, and couldn’t believe the news.
Revealing he’s already been in contact with the Canadian movie superstar, Ocon said: “I was texting with him yesterday on WhatsApp.“I was in the sim yesterday and I sent him a picture of me in the simulator and I had to send him a picture and say look where I am, he said ‘I’m very much looking forward to not only meeting you, but learning from you’.”Beaming while discussing his new colleague, Ocon had earlier revealed an invite from Reynolds to join the set of Deadpool 3.
"He told me I was invited on the set in London for the ‘Deadpool’ movie, so I’m definitely going to be going," he said.. "He also said that he was very much looking forward to learn from our world, see how things work, and just to have a racing chat."
