As scandals multiply in college sports, two companies aim to identify issues early through anonymous player feedback

When David Chadwick was a college basketball player, he launched a class project to create a Yelp or a Glassdoor for college sports. He wanted prospective athletes to be able to read reviews of various programs, from the condition of the locker room to the temperament of the head coach, written by athletes who were there.

But when Chadwick tested the platform in 2015-16 and began taking on clients a year later, something darker emerged.
