A detached five-bedroom Victorian house on 0.4 acres of land, Aranmore can be found in Blackrock, Co Dublin.

LIVINGBuilt in the 1840s, this detached Victorian property is one of four original houses on this stretch of Avoca Avenue. Widely spaced, typically with a plot width of about 30m, each of the houses stand back about 17m from the footpath with Aranmore situated on a very private 0.4 acre site behind a high rendered stone wall and hedges.

A flight of granite steps guide the way up to the Victorian portico front porch where there is a hall door with large fan light. The entrance hallway features high ceilings and cornice detailing. The original reception rooms can be found either side of the hallway with original period marble fireplaces along with cornice and centre rose detail. Large sash windows allow natural light to flood the space by day.

At the garden level of this double-fronted house, the front rooms are half-basement level while the rooms to the rear are the same level as the garden. There is a double bedroom and bathroom along with a more informal reception room to the front of the house.
