The Skeena Industrial Development Park could be a hub for businesses looking to serve massive industrial development.

Developers of a nascent business park just outside of Terrace hope they have a match made for LNG success.

“Since LNG Canada announced their , we have had a barrage of calls from many places across Canada the U.S.,” said city economic development manager Danielle Myles.Construction contractors, suppliers such as pipe-coating firms, steel fabricators and distributors for work camp services are among the companies that have stopped by to check out the development, Myles said.

The Skeena Industrial Development Park was initially spurred by an $11.8 million investment in 2014 by a company called Taisheng International Investment Services, which bought a big chunk of what is now the 970-hectare development.
