The Department of Finance is selling three civil service buildings in an effort to reduce office estate and cut costs. The properties are currently being listed by real estate agents Lisney, with offers of around £2,750,000 for Victoria Hall.

Three civil service buildings are to be sold by the Department of Finance in an effort to reduce office estate and cut costs. The Department has put three properties up for sale, Netherleigh House off Massey Avenue, Clarence Court off Adelaide Street and Victoria Hall off May Street. It hopes that the disposal of these properties will enable it to reduce costs and energy usage.

The properties are currently being listed by real estate agents Lisney, with it accepting offers of around £2,750,000 for Victoria Hall. No asking prices have been given for Netherleigh House and Clarence Court. All three properties are being advertised by Lisney as redevelopment and refurbishment opportunities. A Department of Finance spokesperson said: “Following the implementation of the Civil Service’s Hybrid Working Policy, part of our ongoing Office Estate Review identified opportunities to reduce our office footprint by maximising space usage. Projects have been initiated that allow more staff to be based within existing buildings on the NICS estate. "This has provided the opportunity to reduce our office estate with the sale of a number of buildings including Netherleigh House, Clarence Court and Victoria Hall
