I express my deep shame and embarassment connected with the painful fact that for 21 years that I lived in a "council" house. Mind you, it wasn't as grim as my family's rooms in a slum house in Campden Town. A house which has recently been on the market for £2.3 million.

Yeah right. As if...

Leave housing... just dance... Gangnam style

And yet Local Authorities are cutting grants to Housing Projects that support the most vulnerable of our teenagers and adults!

Almost fuck all then. About enough to build houses for six months worth of immigration.

Make HA's more accountable as at moment tenants of larger housing associations have worst of both worlds, large corporate bureaucracy landlords who project do gooder status outwards while bullying tenants, & private sector like pay for CEO's who operate beyond any real scrutiny

Sounds suspiciously like more public money disappearing into private pockets to me. Virgin Homes is that?!?

Starved by London.

You Should Be Dancing!

But theresa_may managed to find 3/4 of that with a quick shake of the magic money tree to bribe the DUP with.

I appreciate her. Bravehearth in this transition time of london state, she took responsibility. Isnt it. where is cameroon? Diaz?

Rather see councils being given that money to build new council houses.

Bet they don’t get even 2/3rds of that.

Only 200 million a year to cover the whole of England. A drop in the ocean.
