The family-owned business is known for sundaes, milkshakes and its famous Whitser which is a blended dessert that comes with up to three flavors with toppings of your choice. Whit's Frozen Custard has been voted No. 1 Frozen Custard in the city by Jacksonville Magazine from 2018 to 2023, and No. 1 Ice Cream in 904 by Void Magainze from 2015 to 2020.
"The community has been very supportive over the years," said Whit's Co-Owner Jessica McKinley."We are now hiring employees who came to our store when they were six and seven years old.
