Minister Lindiwe Zulu placed the employees on suspension for their alleged involvement in corruption and fraud.
The department's parliamentary oversight committee said that during oversight visits between 2014 and 2017 to KwaZulu-Natal, MPs found that department grants meant for small, medium and micro-enterprises, as well as cooperatives, weren't being used properly.A forensic probe was then launched by the Auditor-General's office.
Useless dept. I have tried helping people with great small business ideas to get all the mountains of paperwork through to this bunch. Always turned down and noone ever helps. Have yet to meet anyone that this lot have actually assisted.
Including herself?
If anybody is corrupt that is crime. Why don't she report them to the police. What did they do? There's no such she's just window dressing.
She must follow them, what has she done for small business?

This is a Ministry that was established for the purpose of dishing out patronage. It mustn’t survive into the next administration.
