A man with a gun was fatally shot by at least one deputy inside a Sprouts Farmers Market in Rancho Cucamonga on Saturday night, Aug 3, officials said.Crime and Public Safety |Around 9:34 p.m., deputies responded to witness reports of a man with a gun in the parking lot of Vons at Alta Loma Square. The man then went to a Walgreens across the street, where he exchanged gunfire with deputies, San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Gloria Huerta said.
Huerta said a deputy had what she described as a minor, superficial injury and was released from a hospital. She did not say how the deputy was injured.
